2008

2008 was the first year for Pint-sized Plays. Entries were judged by Phil Clark, who was Artistic Director of the Sherman Theatre Company in Cardiff from 1990 to 2006 where he prioritised new writing and commissioning and directing over 100 new plays.

We're delighted to say that the competition attracted over 120 entries, the majority of which were of a very high standard. So it was hard to arrive at the shortlist below. Many congratulations to all who made it and particularly to those who were commended.

In the end, four plays were selected by Phil Clark as runners up and six as the final winners.
